It Was Made By The Sabre Knife Company.
They Make A Lot Of Traditional/Slip Joint Style Knives In Japan.
But This One Is Made In The USA And Is A SAK, Which From What I Know Isn't Common From Them.
It's Actually On The Larger Side.
Just A Little Over 91mm, I Forget The Next Size Up, And I'm Not Sure Of Exact mm Measurement.
It Is Also A 6 Layer SAK.

It Is Pretty Cool, Just One Of Those Ones I Got In Random And It's Actually A Really Neat Find.

No, I Don't Believe So.
I Do Have A Little Sheath But It Seems So Big For The Classic.
So I Don't Think It's The One, Plus It Doesn't Have Any Name On It Or Anything.

How rare or hard to find are the marlboro models? I have one but just wanted to know.
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

How rare or hard to find are the marlboro models? I have one but just wanted to know.

They're not rare or hard to find at all, especially the red ones. They were all discontinued in the 1990s but still widely available NIB on eBay. The theory goes that as Marlboro was winding down the "miles" program, people cashed in their miles on whatever they could just so they wouldn't lose them. So they ordered SAKs, but didn't really want them (they were saving for something bigger). And the SAK sat in a drawer somewhere until someone found it and dumped it on eBay.

The only one I've seen that is slightly uncommon is the black 91mm Tinker. I've seen it pop-up a couple times on eBay in the past couple years, but that's about it. The red ones (Trail Guide, Standard, Troubleshooter, and Outdoorsman) are typically always available on eBay at any given moment (a quick search shows 24 right now).

The Trail Guide is a great knife to pick up cheap. If you don't like the file, it's a 10 min mod to make it a Huntsman Slim.

Amici,
Mine is the Wenger Evowood S557. At first I discounted and hasd written it off, on closer inspection and after some serious EDC, it is now my SAK of choice along with a Victorinox jewelers screwdriver attached to the corkscrew.

Cheers,
Serge

Victorinox KL'85, Wenger '94, 2 climber small, lumberjack, watch knife, tourist , scientist & spartan lite. And yet I'm a bit disappointed...   ::)
This seller really has hundreds of knives (airport confisc) and this was the best he had left... :ahhh

(Image removed from quote.)

Wagner, which, IIRC, is a knock-off; I think either Wenger or Victorinox did actually make a 58mm-paired pen/knife, though I don't think it really took off, save for the knock-offs. ^^;  (A bit like how the SOG ToolClip or Leatherman PST were discontinued yet they are still heavily produced in knock-off fashion.

They went to a lot of trouble to knock it off. The blade is stamped Victorinox. Isn't Wagner a large Swiss pen manufacturer?
