Won a Safari Trooper on eBay yesterday. Should be here Saturday. It looked to be in good condition but needs a good cleaning and polish. I paid 27.00 too much? Anyhow I always wanted one. I have a tool box on our dresser it is packed. I don't think my wife will go for a second tool box in the bed room.

I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

Thanks, Can't wait til it gets here. It looks normal size in the pic but it is a 108mm knife. I want to see how big it is in hand.

I found this OC Electrician and a couple of Buck folders in the back of a drawer in my father's night stand.  He doesn't remember when he bought it but I expect it hasn't seen the light of day in more than 20 years.  It needed some oil as it was very stiff but it is fine now and will definitely be seeing some pocket time now that it has become mine.  I'm not as thrilled about the Buck knives, but of course, I'm keeping them too.

It was a good deal in my opinion.  I think I paid about $25 for my German Army Knife, and it seems to be the easiest to find 108mm model.

First butterfly of the year!
He was just learning to fly and didn't mind me taking his picture.
He's thinking - "Bloody hell. What planet is this? People walking around taking pictures of SAKs...."
😍 wonderful!

I have this one inbound.   Difficult to tell if the logo/advertising is foil stamped, inlay?  Any guesses?

Inlay.

Because it's one single piece (the cross is connected to the rest of the shield on both sides).

Good catch by the way :2tu:

Thank you glenfiddich, so you think the Telechrome is inlay?  I probably wasn't clear with my question.

Thought you were talking about the shield

I think the telechrome is printed on. Because there is no connection between the characters (which is always the case if it's inlaid). And foil stamping would make it "glint" a bit, which it doesn't.

My fault for not being clear.  Yes, I think your thoughts about printed on is right.
I didn't have a large awl knife with advertising, so I thought it would be nice to have in my collection.

It is hard to find yellow scales!  I bought a Spartan the other day, just for the scales.
I have to blame magentus and his Picachu knife, it always looks so fresh and happy.
I think my set will be going on a modded Yeoman.  Can't wait to see yours installed.

Hey ColoSwiss, that old Browning is very very nice knife. I'm looking for that one for about 3 years, but no luck  :(.
Can you please upload more pictures, so i can see it better? Where did you find it? Thanks
