Black Alox Pioneer came today.  :D

Its smaller brother has come in. Really wanted to get a few of the alox in several colors. Not sure how I feel about the Cadet though.

Nice walker!  :like:

Thanks! I really like it. It's such a humble little tool, but feels nice in the hand and pocket.

I had to get a SwissTool for the locking scissors. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I have a regular Swiss Tool with the serrated blade rather than scissors. There's something about the way the Vic Multitools lock that is pleasing. Leatherman and Gerber locks feel cheap by comparison.

I bought one of those Schrade (ISC) knives when I realized my chances of ever finding a 91mm “Waiter Plus” were very slim indeed. I was favorably impressed.  While they’re not *quite* up to Victorinox standards, they’re good knives, and cheap as chips.

Yes had my eye on one for a while Altis, thought it’d be good edc addition to the manager on my keychain. I’ve got a couple of huntsman, a hiker, a waiter (great utility for the size), a cadet, a classic and a mini Swiss too, so a small collection, nothing like some of the eye opening collections I see on here. I usually carry the hiker or cadet but missed the bigger scissors and mostly use dedicated screwdrivers at home or work so the philips wasn’t getting much use, going to save the hiker for actual hiking…I do like the saw a lot, and the cadet is my only alox, thinking a farmer x might be a good way to change that mind haha

Sounds like a nice selection you have.  Big fan of the manager as well. Handy to have a pen in the Manager/Compact, especially these days to avoid using public pens for signing or filling out forms.

I recently got the Farmer X and it may be my favourite outdoor SAK. The 93mm Alox have considerably more substantial tools, and the inline awl is outstanding. If you don't yet have a 93mm alox, I think you know what you must do.  :pok:
