I acquired a Walther PPQ recently and decided to see if one of these was around to "pair" with it... I haven't bought a new SAK in a while and didn't realize how rare (or expensive) they had become, but suppose I finally had my EDC luck out moment!

This is my latest sak.
I have in a Long time wanted a red old cross pioneer.
But I have a hard time justify to spend 100-200 dollers on a mint one , because I just got a baby.
A new daughter is expensive and more important
But I did find this old elinox , no way near perfect, but it was only around 15 us dollers..
It fits just fine in my collection , I both have perfect knifes and knives with scars.
Somehow I like both the perfect examples and the ones there could tell a lot of stories from there scars

Sendt fra min moto g(8) power med Tapatalk

victorinox is addictive

For me two new Wengers: (if my Sakwiki skills didn't betray me) a Commander with alpine meadow scales, which I can't wait to reuse in a mod, and a Basic 07 that came with it, with what I assume is a Chinese character.

Congratulations on the baby, Thomas!
If you have some pennies left over after buying wet-wipes and toothing rings, you should definitely buy one or two limited edition 2020 Alox Pioneers/ cadets. Apart from commemorating this eventful year (for us all, I think!) they never decrease in value,  and you never know, in 21 years your daughter may go "Oh cool!" when she sees you've got her a birth-year SAK. I wish I had one from the year my daughter was born but there was no limited edition Alox then, just the big fat Trekker/soldier with the year stamped on the blade. Not as appealing for a lass I think!

That's a nice red old-cross beauty too! Especially for the price.

Postman-Pat dropped these onto my doorstep today.
E-bay purchase that came with a freebie :)
I bought the one with nice roadster on it:

I finally found a “minty” Technician at a reasonable price:

Thankfully, my wife retrieved it from the mailbox before a texting (or drunk) driver happened by:

Picked up these 2 from fleabay for a good price (A$50, about US$35 with postage), climber and evo14.
They both look unused or near to it. Wanted the evo for some time and when he said, hey I can combine postage if you get something else, I thought a spare climber can’t hurt :)

Thanks pfrsantos :tu:, the sellers photos didn’t do them justice, wasn’t expecting anything so minty for the money. I’d been watching them for a few weeks and he’d marked them done twice as hadn’t sold, reckon because he’d not put the model names in the ad (rookie mistake) so sent him an offer and boom

 :tu:

I like it very much, but I prefer the scissors of the victorinox. I will try to combo it with a swiss card, because scissors are the tool I use the most, and don't won't want to give up those from victorinox.

Nice. I'm considering that one right now. You don't happen to have a Ranger to compare the thickness, do you?

No, no Ranger unfortunately...  :(
Don't have sak's over 4 layers..., but the two saws on the Ranger are thin layers, so it's probably just about the same thickness as the DT, maybe just 1mm thicker if so.

I think the DT it's still quite manegable for pocket carry edc, but just at the very limit, for me anyway...
