Couldn’t decide whether to get the Rambler or the Mini Champ…..so I got them both
Mini Champ with pen, toothpick, tweezers, and pin?
New old stock Wenger Backpacker 12 and Golfer 56.[images removed from quote]I picked these up in a town a good 50 minutes away.
Thanks. It boggles my mind that you can still find Wenger stuff out there.
Great finds! I like the logos on them.
Any backstory on why these were still sitting on a shelf after so many years? This sounds like one of those "I found a classic Corvette in near mint condition under a pile of hay in an old barn" stories.
On holiday with some time and a box full of spare parts on my hands…I put together a Spartan with some titanium scales I’d never been able to get to work. The pivots were slightly too long and I’d sheared one of the middle pivot screws previously. The solution was an external rivet and bushing with extra bushings as spacers (although a little grinding was required). Added the Qlip (which was doing nothing better anyway) to see if it works - not sure about it now I see the photo. Looks way too big.The other is an unnamed mod - Huntsman without opener layer if you will (I wanted a 3 layer for slimness)…. All from leftover parts, including the scales that brushed up nicely.Fun times.
That clip looks strange, unless you're a lefty.
That clip is strange - cheap knock off of the proper qlip thing. Never quite got to grips with it. One of those things you buy, try to use then eventually throw in a corner and forget about til the next frenzy of experimentation takes hold. Does this look better? I don’t think it’ll win any beauty pageants but it does score on the “different” scale.
Hello all,I recently added a Swisschamp. I'd held off getting one for a while due to the size, but I'm really liking it.
Congratulations on the purchase! It is very useful. If you really like it, then you'll want to get a second as backup.
