Picked up a Wenger Trailblazer as I like Phillips more than corkscrew and don’t really see any discussion of the model. Bought one sealed in box (says 5/1/89 on back). Trying to decide if I open it or keep sealed…

Personally, I'd open it. Good score regardless of what you decide to do with it!
I think the only real answer here is to buy another one for use. Then maybe a third, just in case something happens to your daily user...
A Mechanic with corkscrew...? It's the 1.3623 !
I need to lay off eBay.
That's easy for me to do...I don't have the funds for new SAKs right now. Congratulations on your new addition and a great deal!
Finally got my complete set of red and black TimeKeepers and Super TimeKeepers with Roman Numerals. Not sure how long I have waited on just the right SAK at a semi reasonable price.
Year of the Tiger classic being my year and not exactly a SAK but a red alox Hunter Pro Well that’s Christmas for me sorted, better think about the family now (Image removed from quote.)

Received a Sportsman today. Really like the 84mm size. Here it is next to the 91mm Spartan. Added Nano clips to them both. I like these clips because they allow the tool to sit perpendicular in my pocket.I went with the Sportsman over the Tourist because of the file, otherwise the Tourist is just a scaled down Spartan, and thought it would nice to have something a little different so I went with the Sportsman because of the file. Very nice But have you considered the Tinker Small? Has the T-Phillips and feels really nice in-hand
Haha! Lucky for me, I actually prefer the corkscrew, otherwise I'd jump on the Tinker small.
You can never be sure until you have one... I was surprised how much I like the Tinker Small.
