Nice one, Echo.  Solo was just a good, big, lightweight folder.  Checkered red looks boss.  Best wishes. Gary  :like:

I just received a Bergeon Minathor, one of my favorite models. I had one from when they were affordable, over ten years ago.  I got this, unused, for $445 shipped.  I hadn't planned on the very large expense, but then, these things are never planned!!

I am thinking of creating a "makers" knife, with parts from this, the Cyber series, metal file, electricians blade, chisel, and a few other maker-y things.  I've been thinking about a nice design for a custom micrometer, too, but haven't come up with enything satisfactory yet.
My Mods: 58mm Workshop, 91mm Picnicker, CyberCompact
Some Fav's: long nail file models, vintage unusual stainless
Quirk: I like the metal file more than the wood saw

I started  picking up Delemont 85mm models after it was announced the line has been discontinued.  An Evowood 10 has become a  great favorite. I've always liked the Spartan and these evo 10 models are similar but include a nail file, which I use a lot.  I bought an Evogrip S18 a while back and like the textured, dual-color scales.  Recently I ordered an Evogrip 10 and it arrived today.  It's very sharp looking and I like it!  Also a family pic with Evo S101, Evo 10, Evogrip 10, and Evowood 10.

I'm starting to like the Evo woodies more and more.  Nice bunch, BT.  That EvoGrip is just luscious.  I only have one Evo.  It is a Wenger S10.  Might as well look at it.  Doesn't cost anything, right?  Best wishes G

I've been reminiscing about a Camper I had as a child in Boy Scouts and later lost in my twenties.  I've not owned one since so thought I should set up a watch for them on ebay.

Here's the one I picked up, from the same early 80s era as my first one, but with inlaid camping scales instead of economy scales.  It's factory clean, unused, and judging by the looks of the scuffs on the scales it's likely been stored away in a drawer for 40 years.

I saw that free Tinker/free shipping deal at SMKW for orders over $20, and used the opportunity to pick up a Jetsetter and my wife are doing some light travel including air travel in the fall. The Tinker (my favorite SAK model) that came was the nylon Econo scale model, and I really couldn't be happier and I strongly prefer these scales over the cellidor ones.
