Yep  :tu:
That reminds me..., i need to soften the edges of the file on my Cadet with a sharpen rod, like i did on the Sportsman, so it scratches on the blade as little as possible

My newest had to be slightly customized.  I wanted a Trekker with a smooth blade, a corkscrew, and single density black scales.  A bit of research identified a Forester M Grip.  So, change the scales.  I also wanted some tinder and a Firefly.  The shrink wrap is to cover the tinder.

Nothing special - Deluxe Tinker and a Workchamp, a few weeks ago and today respectively.
Pic of the DT here, as there isn't a dedicated club, while the WC is in the relevant club thread.

One of my favourite SAKs. The new file is great, too. Nice EDC choice!

I found a great deal on a like-new '82 Soldier.  The ebay ad had Victorinox spelled incorrectly, the model identified incorrectly as an Electrician, and accompanied by one fairly shoddy photo.  The pic was just enough for me to tell that is was in really good shape.  It arrived with the factory edge still sharp!

For years I told myself the Swisschamp model was too thick and heavy to be of much use to me. I viewed it with suspicion and thought it might be more of a showpiece than a usable knife. Spending time on this forum is not such a good idea if one prefers to stoutly hold on to such views.  Watching videos about Swisschamps on youtube is also not indicated for anyone stubbornly sticking to these ideas.

Finally, I caved and bought an ordinary, garden variety, red Swisschamp. Of course this precipitated an orgy of fiddling and I left the knife on my desk.  And I find myself using it all the time!  Turns out it's not that big and heavy or exaggeratedly over the top. Whaddya know.

So welcome to the club, BT!

I edc'd my SwissChamp since 1993, when I received it as a christmas gift from my SO. Felt like being blown away  :tu: In 2010 it got retired and was replaced by a SwissChamp XL. Three layers more, and still my main EDC SAK till today. Carrying has never been a problem, using a belt sheath was the way to go. Almost all of my trousers got a belt, be it jeans, slacks or short pants. My sweatpants don't, so its pocket carry with sheath then. Never did the Champs pull my sweatpants down... To the contrary, without my trusty SwissChamps, I feel naked ...  :D
Best regards and stay safe,

Wolfgang

Well, not a SAK but it did come in a nice grey Vic box.  I got a Swisschamp recently and have been a bit concerned about it falling on the ground.  It's heavier than most of my knives and could damage something or be damaged.  I had one of these Zermatt pouches for a Deluxe Tinker and liked it so I ordered this one and it came today.

:iagree: those Zermatt  pouch’s are very nice indeed! After getting hold of this year’s Damast for a fellow member (who was out and about and unable to order it himself) direct from Vic which meant I couldn’t order another for myself (limited to one per customer) , I was pleased to see that Vic did send some out to dealers this year, so when Heinnie Haynes (I only mention the dealer’s name in case fellow UK members fancy getting one themselves as they have at least one more in stock, just be prepared to have a proof of age document to hand when securing the order, but at least their link is secure unlike Vic’s in Switzerland! ) said that they had some for £50 less than Vic was asking, I just had to get one! I have to say that this combo of Damast and white micarta appeals to me for some reason, even thanks to UK knife laws it will remain a shelf queen….

It’s a stunner! I got my Damast Swiss Champ from them for considerably less than the Vic site too. This in my opinion is one of the best looking combos I’ve seen straight out of the factory.

Looks like a nice Gibby there in the background  :like:

Looks like a jumbo body shape, so I'd normally guess J180 or J185, but the pearl sound hole rosette is throwing me off.  Makes it look more like a songwriter, but I think they had a different body shape

You should head over to the SAKs and guitars thread and show it off a bit:
