Fished this one out of the bay at a reasonable price.  Probably helped that the seller listed it as a Classic…

One of my earliest knives is a Tinker Small and the news I only read this week of it now being discontinued made me wonder how much I'd miss it if it was lost.

Problem solved by popping into a shop I saw while on holiday to get a couple of spares.

I don't usually buy alox or special editions, but this year's 84mm Cadet enticed me to buy two of those when I saw them in a shop just down the road of the first!

So I now unexpectedly have 4 new knives  :P!

It's the first time I'd realised just how slim the alox is due to scales, liners, etc.  Hopefully this picture of both pairs shows the same and different dimensions of each 84mm variant.

Nice, I’ve got one too which I ground the key ring off of. Just ordered new 84mm scales for it.  :tu:

Victorinox Skipper and corresponding screwdriver set for the corkscrew.

That Ranger Damast is probably my favourite LE for a while. Very well conceived - maybe Santa will be kind ;0)

It's not really mine, it is a gift for my wifes nephew. We went on holiday togeather and he was impressed by my SAKs versatility. So we decided to get him one for his birthday.

Based on what he liked, we got a FIELDMASTER. We added also a needle (or pin) and the green thing I don't know how to name right now.

Latest SAK I have is a Christmas gift for my 11yr old son.  His first Tinker.  Probably first of many SAKs.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

Couple new things. My small tinker had a loose scale so I bit the bullet and ordered a new black set of 84s, also added 3 extra sets of plus scales to make the purchase worthwhile. I saw the serrated Spartan is still for sale on Amazon so I picked up my 3rd... the first two had the thicker crossbow blade shank and this one is the slimmer newer style main blade.

I’ve also got a Sportsman in the mail.  :climber:

Nice looking winter theme knives, Sr. Santos.  And Butch, I take it that the pretty McCormick logo knife is an 84mm?  Some good 'uns.  Best wishes.  Gary

My latest SAKs is Climber and Grand Prix.
Im not sure how common that Grand Prix is since it doesnt have Fine Screwdriver nor Hook anf it have Keyring and round phillips with cankey.
Grand Prix isnt most best condition, it needed lots of cleaning and oiling to even open main blade and small blade, all other tool open little effort. After hour work now blades, file, scissors, back tools snap.
Large flathead snaps open and can opener doesnt snap properly when opened but both tools lack snap when closed.

Pretty good haul for 5€
