Nice purchase. I think I saw those at Tori.fi. The price wasn't bad either.

SilverTech Spartan. Has Farb Punkt etched on the blade. Some company promo I guess.

Picked up this Cowboy today, which I bought second hand. It's like new and very fine.

It has "Patented" printed on the blade opposite side of the Victorinox name. I have not seen this before on any of my other SAK's. Anyone know the background of this?

You mean 6 Yeomen, 3 Compacts and a box of parts, right?

Just picked these up for $32 a piece.  I thought it was a pretty good deal for the condition they're in but please let me know otherwise.  (I'm not going to return them but just so I know for future reference.)

They just need a good cleaning, some oiling, and a light stropping.

I haven't had any new acquisitions in quite some time now. I am tempted by a few things though - The Outrider is the one I currently have my eye on. I only own one other 111mm (a humble Picnicker) and I wouldn't mind adding another one or two to the collection.

Finally got myself a Cheese Master. My wife and I tested the cheese blade on a few different cheeses last night, and it sliced through them like warm butter. I expect it will see a lot of use for the mini charcuterie boards my wife and I frequently enjoy.

I’ve been carrying the exact same knife for 6 years and the same pattern for 12 and yet I still look and occasionally buy. My experience is there is no stopping the madness. My consolation is that it’s cheaper than most obsessions.

I concur... as I peruse the auto-parts websites...
