Thank you. Yes, grey is very uncommon. Some of the Battle Series models are grey (left one is Battle of Näfels). And this grey Executive is weird too :)

That gray Spartan has sort of a taupe look. I :like: it...a lot!

Thanks
Depending on the light it has sort of a purple hue. I like it. I just remembered I've also got a grey (gray) Classic which is unusual.

I think my post under this topic⁉️

I have a few SILVERtech models.

Added this one TUESDAY as the RIVER site suggested this actual model after searching for maybe 60 days, could let it slip by, had to be NOS that located in a warehouse bin

Modded this one for work - awl the tools needed for a bit of emergency carpentry. Used to hate the fish scaler but it's great as a depth gauge

Nice mod! And I agree, the inclusion of the 93mm awl is a great idea

Thanks awl. I originally put some oak scales on it but wasn't happy that it had no Vic shield, and then I ruined them trying to put one on

Ha, I’ve done the same thing. Ruined a set of elm scales I made for a 111mm sentinel trying to add a shield.

I know I’ve seen some done and posted here on MTO years back, but I can’t remember who. Whatever they are, they are certainly on a higher level than me!

I used to have an Executive with wooden scales which had a shield on the front scale in an unusual position. It looked alright but it wasn't perfect. Old pic and I've since sold it:

Seems like a laser engraver might be a simpler and more accurate option than trying to manually harvest and transplant a shield.
