Oh good Lord...

That Salesman?

My Wenger Evo16 finally arrived today.Seriously,8 days for delivery from a UK seller charging 4quid for P+P?

Still very pleased with the Evo

+1 on the Salesman.  :tu:  And  :tu: on the Evo16.  I had one, traded it, and realized I'd made a huge mistake, so I got another one.  It might possibly be my favorite SAK.

Rahmed, you took advantage of my broke-ness *laughs* Glad to see I got beat by one of us. Thinking of a rehab on the Salesman?

These came in today.

The one on the right is actually grey.  I hadn't seen a grey one before and all of my vehicles are grey so I figured it would be good for the truck.

Yes and no. I put one together just out of fun. It worked, but it would cost major $$$$$

Close but no cigar. It takes a whopping 5 saw springs. I had the parts but that thing felt like it was 100 pounds in the pocket. I won't be doing that again. Ugh

I would use it.  I think it would be an awesome thing to have.  Not that I can afford it though, that's the sucky part.

Just got a new Farmer from a swap with Tosh - You all know the Farmer - it's awesome -best SAK ever IMO, so now my collection is complete! (unless anyone has a spare CT41 knocking around!) :D

Thanks to Tosh for a great swap (He is now the owner of a Wenger Minigrip).

I'm going to EDC the Farmer (replacing my trusty Huntsman) with my usual Classic for the scissors, T and T.

Top combo.

I've been more than inactive in the past weeks, but life hasn't stopped. :)

A few little things dropped in the postbox for me, a very beaten up '98-ish Swisstool (pics and story of that in the swisstool topic), and an old GAK accompanied by a NWIB Solo plus (Kudos Reinier!).

The GAK's blade is scratched, I'd want to polish it out, could anyone share a good procedure with me for it? And the awl's end is chipped off, what I think I'll convert to a small screwdriver eventually. :)

Solo Plus:

I think I'm falling in love with the 108mm platform... (modders behold!  :D)

Small collection of SAK's, (but growing rapidly. :D) not so fast at this time. :( And the most important of all: Ze Zuper Zoldier by Steve!  :ahhh
Wishlist for 2014: Rangergrip 88, Victorinox: CT41, Spirit X BO CC, Swisstool X BO, Some limited Alox stuffs and so on

Glad to see that those 108mm knives arrived safely. And did you know that actual GAK was featured in the "one opener a day" thread? :D

Got my Compact Black today.
A new SAK after 1 year of S18 goodness. Fresh!

However, I think it's weird the springs aren'T flush with the liners on the back. :o

Yeah, that is a bit of a peeve for me too.  I've got to get a new Compact in black for myself now as well.

Got a couple of Wengers on my wish-list too... an S14 soft touch, and an S16 with the yellow scales.

I love my S18, but I can't stand these PER-scales.

Looks really nice tbh.

I wonder how durable it is?

The cheaper hardwood version looks nice too but this one's a lot nicer. It's got a proper shield as well.

I always buy a Victorinox sheath with these kind of Swiss knives.
I will never use this one, after all i have a regular SwissChamp for EDC.
