Yea, that's weird, the XXLT "1897-1997 100 years swiss army knife"?

SAKWiki: The Piezoelectric lighter was first introduced in 2002 and discontinued in 2005.

Yes it's quite an anachronism. A factory rebuild perhaps? Maybe I will send an email to Ibach :)

That one's a bit too big for my tastes for an SAK, but very cool nonetheless :)

I had to buy this one too, the other day, but I don't like the translucent scales, so I got the regular red opaque type, and not the XXLT.  I dunno, I guess I wanted to have something on hand which had damn near everything on it.

Not as impressive as an XXLT, but prettier.  ;)

Old Victorinox Tourist with mother-of-pearl handles, and an old grooved corkscrew.

My latest acquisitions: a Tinker small and a Sportsman, birthday presents :D. Still awaiting the Executive and Mini Champ (should be any day now), found a pretty good deal on a Waiter that I should be getting Monday along with a late birthday present (wife won't tell me what it is yet).

Was browsing around in the Berkeley REI today after getting my new glasses at the Cal Ophthalmology dept.    Almost broke down and bought a Mini Champ when I realized how my fingers are too big for those little 58 mm tools...  Then I almost bought a sapphire Huntsman, when reason overcame me and I realized I don't *need* any more SAK's...

Hey I just got one of those as well.  Is Vic clearing old stock?  Mine was a SABI version so it must have been imported to the US 'quite' a while ago, but I see these available in Europe as well.

Got mine from a dealer on ebay, Royaltyknives, who had a half-dozen available. No info on the box.

Thanks for the info.

The ELC was a prototype French light tank from the mid 50's. 6-7 tons; two-man crew. The main version had a 90mm gun, which must have been hellacious to fire in that light a vehicle  (like the US M56 Scorpion). Also an anti-aircraft version (shown above) with 2 30mm cannons.

Mine came from the same place.  'SABI' (Swiss Army Brands Inc.), the box was marked with their item-number and one of their stickers had been poorly removed from the bottom of the box.

Helps to look on the bottom.  :P

Large removed sticker, and smaller sticker with '0.3600.68', which appears to be the correct number.

Finally got an old cross red Farmer. Just bought it off eBay. I have been checking ten times a day for months. Posted in a buy it now cheaper than I got my Pioneer for. Pioneer did have a box. None for the Farmer but it looks like it was carried very little. I am satisfied.......for now. :D
