Love them both, but especially the one with the green leaf, as I don't think I was able to get one with that part of their camo image.  That is one thing I don't like about these real-camo prints; you have no idea what you're getting until it arrives and they can very significantly.  I'm going to have to check my backups.

The thing to do is find somebody that has one with a pattern you like and offer him something good to trade for it :pok: :pok: 8) :)

I love Wenger SAKs. This will be my EDC now.

To do list:
1st - add eyeglass screwdriver. DONE
2nd - remove the chain IN PROCES, I don't see the use in it. Does anyone?

NICE! I like Wengers too, and I've left my chain on both of the ones I've got so far (not counting the minigrip and swissgrip). My primary daily carry is actually a deluxe tinker, which I carry on a suspension clip (with a Fenix PD20) - and the motorist is my reserve for this role. My smaller one (serrated traveller - which takes turns with my Vic tourist for lighter carry) has a photon style light attached to the chain.

I fell in love with Wenger a long time ago. My first and second real SAKs some 17 years ago were a Wenger Snife Waves and a Wenger Forester a few years later. With this one I now have nine Wengers. :D

I just added a fauxton (cheap photon-good advice) on the chain, will try it for a couple of days to see how it goes. Thanks for the tip.

I am still waiting on my swisschamp and spirit, stupid Gad-zooks.com!

BUT...Thanks to a member here showing me the way, I have found a long lost favorite called the Schrade SS1, and I will hopefully have two of them on the way tomorrow, as well as the newer version of the same knife.

Got this dual blade Wenger off eBay a few days ago. I've seen a couple others sold on eBay in the past few years. It has scissors and nail file to complement the blades. Anyone know the name of this model?

Picked up an 84mm Golfer of eBay in an airport forfeiture lot.  What at great little knife.  I had planned to swap the scales on it, but it is in such good shape that I might try to grab a second one to trade scales on.  The Golfer I received has the combo-tool with the flat edge ground into it above the nail nick and no half stop.  This 84mm scissors are very unique.  A bit different in design than the 91mm scissors. :tu:

No picture yet, but I just got my black Vic Compact.  I'm debating sending it back though because the scales are all scratched up.  I bought it new, it was in a box sealed with cellophane, but the scales are pretty scratched.  It's a neat little tool though.  I'll need to play with it to give a better review though.  Quick question, will the combo tool act as a can opener?  Just curious.

GraysonK, the black scales seem to be the easiest to get scratched. If you plan on staying with black and on using your Compact any you might as well keep what you have because shiny new black scales will be scratched in short order. and to answer your question, the combo tool is designed to function as both bottle and can opener. It isn't quite as efficient as the regular can opener but you won't starve.  :D

Upon, closer inspection, I've found some other issues.  As soon as I finish my dinner here, I'm gonna take some pics.  The main blade is kind of messed up.  It has no sharp tip and on one side, the bevel is almost curved.  I don't know if I can fix it.  I'm gonna take some pics to hopefully show you guys so you can let me know.  I hope it doesn't sound too nitpicky.  I'm not so upset about the scales except for where I found a small dent...I don't know if I'll be able to show that in a pic, but I'm gonna try.  if the blade can't be fixed, then I'll probably send it back...but we'll see.  :)

Grayson-
Sounds like you need to return it.  You can get Compacts off eBay brand new for ~$30.  I see black ones on there right now.  If you paid anything close to this, you should return your bad specimen.

On the subject of latest SAK's, I just won and auction with an old Cellidor Lumberjack.  I'm really digging the 84mm stuff lately.

Last weekend I was visiting relatives for Easter, and went to a local hardware store with my cousin. There in a case were a Tinker and a Bantam. The Tinker I immediately wanted, to replace the one I gave to a friend recently. Looking at the Bantam, I noticed that it was missing the toothpick. The guy at the store said he had given it to another customer as a replacement, and that if I wanted it, the Bantam was $5. Needless to say, I left the shop with two new Vics! Today I went to a local sporting goods store that I know sells toothpicks. The guy there gave me one for nothing, so my $5 Bantam is complete! Neat little knife, that combo tool is cool. The Tinker is probably my favorite SAK, I had my old one for years.

I didn't get a good deal, but I was happy to open this one this weekend.
