I don't often buy SAK's but this copper Alox Cadet caught my eye in a second hand store.  It is in very good condition.  Non of the color has rubbed off of the alox.  The only wear I can see is a couple very fine scratches in the main blade and the split ring is missing.   I will probably play around with it for a few days, then it will be available for trade.

Is the book worth getting?  I think in conversion, it was close to $30 USD; pricey for not knowing the quality and what's in it. :/

The 57 page book has some nice info on the rare models/stamps etc.
Example page on the 1890 Soldier.

I see a lot of nice stuff guys & gals :)

My latest ones are a Prince (Victoria) with fake Mother of Pearl or maybe cracked ice scales

And an Executive with custom wood scales:

I like that the location of the cross & shield.

First deployment of OD green for me.  Hard anodized red liners and black oxide tools and springs.  :tu:

And yep... I build alot of SAKs. :D  If I had the time Id like to build 1 a day, but young kids seem to prevent that.

Here's my first SAK. In my first SAK post. My expectations were smashed beyond belief. Victorinox has its @$#% together. I apologize for Vic user trash talk I may or may not have posted. I received the Rescue Tool today.

The thing is smooth operating all around. Liner locks are flawless and seem fused to the main blade when deployed. Even a classy box presentation with the tool in the sheath. Better yet a glossy users manual, in color. It even came with  sample cologne cause they knew im a LM user who soiled himself in joy of quality.

This Rescue tool is going to the Fire house Thursday to reside in my bunker coat. Sort of a bummer but that's what I got it for. I pray I'll only have to use it at department training. I hope I made a good choice in this tool. It really feels stout and reliable. Any first responder feed back would be great. Who actually used the tool. Ill post something in the rescue tool forum to stay on topic.

Welcome to the forum! The Rescue Tool is such a great way to start with SAKs!

How lucky this Rescue Tool is to go to a Fire Station! 8)

All 84 mm with scissors SAKs are hot and this one is beautiful. The blade tang must be full thickness too.

Yes. Here's a quick photo of the card that came with it. From my understanding there were issues with some scales. Mine has a gap where mammoth meets the frame, but it's fine with me.
