By the numbers.
on: August 07, 2010, 03:55:18 AM
Well I was thinking of starting an inventory list, but somehow I got disheartened looking at it all. Then I got the bright idea of doing a rough head count just to see where it stands. Here are the results for your amusement.

Multi-tools
Leatherman: 160
Gerber: 61
SOG : 23
Victorinox: 9
Buck: 8
Multitasker: 4
Bear & Son: 14
Swiss+Tech: 10
Seber/IDL: 5
IDWorks/CRKT: 10
Other: 90

Rough estimate:  394

Swiss Army Knives
Wenger: 113
Victorinox: 336

Rough estimate: 449

 :ahhh

Doing the list is OK - maintaining as you go on is the bit I struggle with :P

Then again, I only have about half as many multis as you do!
I used to come here a lot.

Wow, I actually thought the number was higher.  I really love the pics you have up of your Victorinox stuff.  Makes me drool!

Yea, I'm sitting at 4 MT's and 5 Sak's right now.  Hopefully later this week I can afford to pick up a retired LM from Sazabi and further my quest to have all the really awesome LM's.  I finally got my Pulse after...I dunno...maybe a year of searching?  I never could afford it.  I also have a Wenger SI on the way.  There's another quest ended.  I can only imagine how awesome Chako must feel whenever he gets more than one Great white buffalo tool a week!

Thats a lot of metal! Hope the foundation of your house is strong enough to support your collection.
Multitools are the best thing that happened to mankind since the invention of the wheel!
