Only 27 pieces were made for this special run. Maybe there will be a next similar run in some weeks/months. It was started by Swissbianco.

I reopen the topic because I have come across a black farmer over at an online store in greece,
Are those farmers special run or something? Are they a discontinued official run?
I am still waiting for it to arrive and i do not know what to expect :P

Since I spent 6-7 hours window shopping to come across a non silver alox farmer, i will withold the link till I make my mind how many I will order  (sorry about that, I hope its understandable).
Also I dont know if or how many more there are available.

According to sakwiki, Victorinox manufactured more black farmers for distributors other than swissbianco. Currently, an Italian dealer has a bunch of them in stock.

I saw also an italian site with some black farmers (huuuuge shiping costs)... I guess the greek site has something to do with the neighboor Italian dealer maybe some kind of partnership :D

Indeed! Of that special +B run of 27 mine was one of the 7 that remained on the European Continent. Germany to be precise. It now calls its home Kalifornia.

Oh that was close... no more right now... I thought that would be very weird if their were any remaining.

.... that Black Farmer with the silver cross is the Route-66 limited I believe.


Looks like Whippy still needs a clean blade version.

Those black Farmers are nice. It was also nice seeing the ones Mr. Whippy posted for comparison.  :drool:

I wanted one, missed out the first time around, and by the second time that I had a chance I figured I just did not need to spend the dollars ($65) on another Farmer, just to have black. If it was hard anodized I would have to rethink that. ;) Of course if I had won the lottery, I would have been willing to spend the dollars.  :D I did at one point get a black Pioneer though, so I have some black alox.  :)
