OK Had this Sak now for at least 10 years in the glove box of several cars, but I have no Idea what it is. Anyone know the model?

Yuppers, Champion.

It was supposed to be replaced by the SwissChamp around '84 but was so popular they actually ran both models side by side for a few years. The major difference between the Champion and teh SwissChamp is the addition of pliers, but the SwissChamp also has a few more tools on the backside.

For the longest time, the Champion was indeed the Champion as it was the biggest SAK available, and my father's Champion was the brass ring for me, growing up with
only
a Camper!

Cool beans. Now I just got to figure out if this will end up in my EDC rotation, or if I just want to trade it away.

You posted the wrong link! I was searching and searching for wings in the SwissChamp article!
Yes, those indeed are your wings, and the occupy a very prominent place in my collection. As you can see, they are in very good company!
