After I stopped frequenting the forum and stopped buying multitools I sold off a lot of what I had. I did keep my BO Surge though, and it has been such a wonderful tool. It has been quite literally the only tool I carry now for the last few years and I have to say I have been so happy with it. If I had to pick one tool to carry for the rest of my life I can honestly say the Surge would be it.

Just wanted to post a picture of my Surge. It has been on a pocket clip, clipped in my left front pocket for years now and this is what it looks like. One thing I did not mention was I have been working at a lumber yard for the past year and the Surge was used heavily. I’m amazed by how little wear it shows and how well it has held up and more so how well the BO finish has held up on my Surge. It’s basically just the pivots that show wear. Truly incredible in my opinion.
