Spyderco
on: August 09, 2010, 12:45:42 AM
As many of you probably have figured out, my current fetish is Spyderco. I am interested in trading for almost anything Spyderco, but I am mostly after EDC knives, particularly the Endura.

I don't have money to spare right now, but I have plenty of knives and tools to offer... I have a few SOG knives, some Gerber knives and tools, some SAKs... Just PM me with any Spydies you have to offer and let me know what you're interested in, and I'll see what I can do to accommodate you. I have posted pictures of almost all of my knives, and I know I took pictures of my tools (I may not have posted them yet  :-[ )... Anyway, that is why I don't really want to type out a whole list. If the mods think I should post a list so as to better follow the forum rules, then I will.

Thanks!

Joey

The one knife that I really want above all others is an SS handled Endura 4 with a PE blade.

I have plenty of knives and tools to offer for one, including:

NEW Gerber Flik
Like new SOG Twitch II
Like new SOG Field Pup with nylon sheath

Any many others that I can list when I have time. :)

Here is an older version II of the Endura in S/S

Lets see a list of what you have to trade
Why do I carry a 45 ?
Because they don't make a 46 !

Oooh sorry I took a while. That looks perfect!

I have:
Gerber Flik (new)
SOG Trident (half serrated)
SOG AirSOG (serrated)
SOG Mini Topo
SOG Blink
SOG Twitch II
Victorinox Skipper
Victorinox New Soldier
Wenger Ranger 58
Gerber Profile (folder)
Buck X-Tract (this one is a bit dirty, but I'd clean it up before I shipped it. It actually hasn't been used much)
Victorinox Traveler (I think that's what it's called. It has a digital alarm clock)
Gerber Double Take

And maybe some others  :tu:

It's marvelous! I wanted to see what the Rangers were like. But it's too big for how useful it'd be to me, so I'd trade it for something more useful if the opportunity arose. I hoped it was okay... Dunc re-traded the Paratool I sent him within a week or two if I remember correctly.  ::)
I hope you're not offended mate. :)

I wouldn't worry I'm sure AHB was just joking. I re trade things all the time, how else are you going to know what works for you.

Phew!  :)

I'm still looking for any and all Spyderco knives that anyone has to offer! I think I have enough serrated blades now though :P So just plain edge blades, please, or at least half-serrated. :)

My recent acquisition of a fully serrated Endura gave me perspective on how big that model really is :P So now my "dream" Spyderco knife is a plain edged, stainless steel handled DELICA 4. But I will still go for any Delicas that you guys may have to offer, as well as pretty much any similar sized (or smaller) Spydies.

Thanks all!

To anyone reading this thread: I have acquired all the Spydies that I absolutely need for now, so no urgency. That isn't to say that if you had a Spyderco knife to trade, I wouldn't be interested  ;)

I just figured it would be handy to know. :) Thanks all!
