MT photo sets
on: August 27, 2010, 06:10:08 PM
I know a lot of us who post pictures here use services such as Flickr, Photobucket etc to host pictures, so I thought it would be nice if we all posted links to those albums/sets here. Please DO NOT POST IF YOU DON'T HAVE A LINK TO SHARE. There are plenty of 200 page long photo threads here where 90% of the posts are random comments, this is meant more as a directory of members' photo albums and not a discussion thread.

I'll start off:

My DIY set on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cptnodegard/sets/72157624658598854/
My EDC set on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cptnodegard/sets/72157624693382947/

It would be better to post images/thumbnails here within the forum :tu:
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Granted I have a lot of spare time, but posting 230 thumbnails is beyond even my patience  :ahhh

If you know of any automated way of doing it, let me know

I know with Photobucket it allows you to generate all the links within your particular album  :tu:

Ok so the idea of this thread obviousely wasn't the best. I still think we should have some way of displaying a LOT of pictures somewhere, rather than having to wade through hundreds of comment posts. Any ideas?
Yes I'm triple posting. Sue me  :P

Me, I like comments, comments provide context but if its tool pron you want there is the gallery sections of this site's wiki.

And similar for SAKs.  :tu:

The site has a wiki?!?  ???
Holy carp

I like comments as well, but I wish there was a better system of doing it - like photo sharing sites where each picture has comments on its own

Here - this should keep you out of mischief for a while:

When you've looked at them all, let me know and I'll upload a few more :D

Photobucket lets you do all that, but like Neil says - I prefer everything in the thread.

Yeah - you're right :D

IIRC, I was going to tidy things up a bit on there, and started to create albums / folders and what have you, then realised that if you move the photo, the links on the site here would be broken.

So that idea got dropped, and I think Axes (which didn't need to be plural in truth, I only have one) was created as part of that hair-brained scheme.

I'd love to tidy it up a bit tbh, but I can't go back and edit the pic links here :(
