Best tool with bottle opener... Style CS, Curve, or other?

Which keychain tool has the best bottle opener?  That is the one feature I want that my beloved Swiss Army SD doesn't have, but I don't care for the opener on the Rambler.  I'm leaning towards the Style CS, since the bigger scissors makes it a little less redundant to the SD.  I've also considered the Shard, but I like keeping bulk on my keychain to a minimum, and not sure I'd like the bent prybar (I typical only keep a few keys and a 4Sevens Preon on my keychain).  The $50 one-piece tools are out of the question, I don't want to spend more than $25.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I don't have a Style CX, but do have a skeletool CX and love having the bottle opener ready and waiting without having to open a tool.  Very handy and looking at the Style CX, seems the same.

Personally, I'd go for the Style CS and clip it to the keyring with the carabiner (easy access for the scissors).  Agree with Chili about the carabiner opener.

If you want something that has a decent opener and the least bulk possible, I'd advise you to check out the review I posted a couple of hours ago:

Depends of the stuff already on your keychain and what do you want to keep.
Why not trying this: http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,19436.0.html ?

A MT.O Gerber Shard would even leave you with some spare cash to throw 'round..  ;)

First off, welcome to the forum.

Secondly, you're very quickly finding out that when you ask a question on here you'll get 12 people giving you 15 different answers. :D

So, back to the question.  Don't, whatever you do, buy a Squirt.  It's got an even worse bottle opener than your Rambler :-\ (though I still really like it overall).  A decent option is, I still think, the Micra.  A good opener and a great range of tools. Do be warned though, any of the LM style scissor tools are going to feel noticeably bigger than your Classic.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Thanks for all the suggestions and the welcome!  I guess I have more to look at than I realized.  In regards to Swiss Tech, how is the bottle opener on the Utili-key?

also the swiss tech multimax 19in1 has a bottle opener when you open the pliers as far as they can. Good tool, and fits on a keychain nicely. easy to remove from the keychain for use.

The answer is of course, "none of the above".

Why?

Well, it's simple really..

Why carry a bottle opener tool on your keychain, when your keychain itself is a bottle opener?

May I present the following elegant solution: http://www.niteize.com/products/s-biner-ahhh

I have one, it is excellent, you need one, end of story.

I remember seeing that S-biner, does indeed seem like a good, full size solution

I'm glad I asked about this.  I consider myself a pretty thorough product researcher before buying something, but y'all are showing me tools I have never seen!

I really rather like the Gerber Solstice.  Awesome pair of scissors, two good screwdrivers and a can opener to boot (one that works well, I might add).  They're discontinued, but they're still readily available and you get 'em for a song (I got one for a dollar).

Well this contradicts my post, but I just discovered the SA Cadet after poking around here, and am seriously just leaning towards getting one of those.  I like the idea of a slim SAK with all the tools I want from the full size.  I may still get a keychain tool for the heck of it, but I like that Cadet!

You can't go wrong with the Cadet, it's a great SAK.  Have you seen the Alox Bantam though?  Even slimmer than the Cadet at only one layer think (as opposed to the two of the Cadet), it has the Victorinox combi tool that is a far better cap lifter than the standard one found on the Cadet.

Personally I prefer the Cadet but I thought you might like to know the options. :)

I'm tempted to try that^

But with my luck, I'd tear my shirt, rip out armpit hairs and spill some beer in the process

or.....be proudly sipping your newly armpit opened beer and suddenly wonder....what the heck is that in my teeth......?

Spilled beer is a sad, sad thing.  My problem with that method is that it doesn't result in me buying a new toy... I mean, tool!

Speaking of which, I have a Cadet on the way; I think I like it better than the Bantam.  But I still may pick up a Style CS at some point :)
