As usual, no direct links for the Victorinox site - when you're not "you", it just goes to the front page >.< Stupidest webdesign mistake ever

Can you explain where on the site you found it, in other words how to navigate there?

Actually it's because of your location, Cpt; it's the US site.  Go through a proxy to get to the webpage... stupid, I know.  ::)

They probably did it to be easier; no different from what Google does... oh wait, you can still search via other countries' Google pages, though. :pok:

Actually, yeah... try to get Google to take you to it? ^^;

Yes, there is a Digital Camo Huntsman, the Tinker Wabenmuster Ruby Spartan, and Climber. I have all on order and should have them by around early September for sale.

Looked a bit weird, like most "special" scales... I don't get why Vic doesn't make more special editions with metal or wood scales

Make a tool idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot. Also, Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Wenger came out with a soft grip a year or so ago so Victorinox is now in the mix as well.

Felinevet,

Can you clarify again which Vic models you will be receiving in the SoftGrip handle version? Thank you.

Is the "Tinker Wabenmuster Ruby Spartan" one knife?

Which one is the black one pictured on the Vic site, the Tinker Wabenmuster? What does Wabenmuster mean?

Thanks for the replies.

Sorry, forgot the comma between the Tinker and the Spartan. Actually Wabenmuster is a German word meaning honeycomb. The English name of the model is Gray Geotec and the black one shown on the site.

Felinevet:   Well, I looked it up.  Appears to be USMC desert MARPAT.  Regardless, put my name down for 1x Digital Camo Huntsman.
