-gasp!-

I went to a show.. Rockabilly and Surf.. With no multitool.

I took a One Hand Sentinel and and Explorer Plus. And I felt just fine. Home now, and no worries whatsoever. All I can say is: for four hours I had no pliers, and a full on Vic load out.. And it was f*cking great. You lunatics have turned me into a Swiss addict, and I love it.

BTW, OH Sentinel and Explorer Plus is a great pair. Throw in my Swiss-Tech Micro Light and I felt all set for anything. Damn you Swiss. Damn you to Hell.

You still had multi-tools, you just didn't have a "plier based" multi-tool.

PLiers is one thing I can happily live without, hence why I'm waiting for an S4 to switch out for my P4.

Ironically, when I do use pliers I use those on my FAKE Gerber - cause they're the biggest I have xD

Agreed.  I would never go to work without a pliers based multi but I'm quite happy to spend my time off with a SAK, and I never feel under gunned. :tu:

For me the whole Vic V's Leatherman/Gerber /Sog thing doesnt exist anymore . I've gone right back to basics and for the last couple of months have been EDCing a LM PST along with a Vic SAK . The SAKs in my EDC rotation at the moment are a Waiter , Climber , Huntsman and a Farmer .With a Dual Pro for Work EDC .

Those are most of my days. Just a folder.

When I'm not going to work, I often do without a plier MT, simply because carrying just a swiss is so much lighter and more comfortable in the pocket.

A couple times I somehow left the house with no tools of any kind, situations where a multi would be useful seem to jump out from every corner.
I shiver just thinking about it. *clutches Vic Spirit ever so tightly* Don't ever leave my side again multi tool.
