Not in a million years.
It's a nice knife, but not worth such an insane amount of money.

Hm, one yes, one no...

I'll go maybe, just to keep it even.

Honestly, no idea.  It is very pretty, though.

For that price...yes.

Victorinox produced 1884 units per district, and they divided the world up into 4 districts. Worldwide, only 7536 knives total.

Now if you can get your hands on the Wenger edition, only 1893 produced worldwide. That is a bit rarer then the Victorinox 125th Heritage Soldier.

The MSRP is not good .... I think $250 is perfectly reasonable for such a piece and if I had that kind of spare cash wouldn't hesitate to buy one.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I would love to have a Vic like that, but I would never be prepared to pay that kind of money for it..

I am a collector but i wouldn't buy that. For that price i thought it was in silver.
What can't possibly justify such a tag for a limited edition of "only" 7500+ knives ???
you can buy a limited edition (50 pieces worldwide) of a gray woodsman for waaaaaaaay cheaper or even a real vintage soldier for about $50

I don't get it with the heritage knife  :-\

Oh yeah I forgot Vic cheated on the numbers, in that case change my vote to no.

No as you said it's 7536 total. But numbering them only up to 1884 in 4 groups (obviously to give the impression that only that many made) is pretty sleezy business practice.

They were quite upfront with the numbers...so no, not sleazy at all.

Well you may not think so, but I do. Either make 1884 of them or number them to whatever total made, that's point of numbering system in limited production.
