When did this thread start...and why wasn't I informed? :(  :D

I prefer sporks with three to four tines and deepish slots.

I just got a book about whittling, and after looking through it I thought I will make a spork when I have the practice to to it. Now I see a wooden spork here  :D I doubt that my first wooden spork will look that good  :ahhh

Here's my meagre 'collection' of sporks.

A Vargo Ti spork

A Snow Peak Ti short spork

Now with added carabiner (bottom right)

and a 'light-my-fire' red spork

Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

I've been thinking about putting together my own version of a Essbesteck/Lusikkahaarukka.

I located some plain-handled Dollar store cutlery that might work for this...just have to go back for some forks. The ideal is to make one longer than the Primus version at the bottom of the photo to reach into meal pouches.

TS, Be careful whittling can be dangerous!

My red plastic LMF spork broke when I picked it up off my desk. Had to eat cereal with barely enough handle. (We moved, can't find the silverware box still! The LMF spork & a pair of rosewood chopsticks have been my silverware for the past month.)

Disgusted, went to Amazon and ordered a Snow Peak mini-spork. Like the foon spines on the normal sized one, yet this version is more portable.

It not really a hard project...drill hole, insert steel Tinner's rivet, bash rivet, cut off excess  :D

The hard part is centering the hole on the axis...mine is a little off, but it still works.

On Thursday evening I was in the GF's garden
It was a clear night, beautiful you could see all the stars  :dd:
After a BBQ we put some logs on the fire, enjoying a glass of red (or 2)
So I'm sitting there with some bits of Ash that I cut from a friends hedge and a Knife I got in a deal from Neil (making hammer handles)
At about 10pm I think to my self  “its bloody dark out here, I can't see the knife or the wood, I will finish in a min”

GF says; Isn't it a bit dark to be doing that Mmm?
Me; I do know what I'm doing Dear  ???
GF; Mmm

Two mins later
Me; Do you still have that first aid kit in the car Dear?
GF; Why?
Me; Just wondering
GF; You have cut yourself haven't you?
Me; Maybe
I could hear her smiling all the way out to the car  :b2t:
