How is Seamonkey? I was thinking of trying it some time ago but never talked myself into it.

Seamonkey is good enough for my purposes (am using Windows 2000).  It has a similar engine to that of FF, afaik.

I prefer Chrome on WinXP or better systems, though. :)

I use Firefox 3 mostly, but also run Opera 10 from my U3 drive while I'm at work.

You may have caught that already...  I marked the poll for Firefox though (since you could only vote once!  ::) ) so there's one more user out there.

All true, that's why I use FF with only 2 or 3 addons.

Some days can't get through, although I think it's because your site wants the big pipe when the best I can get is the hairline pipe. End up having to wait till later to keep from being timed out. It's more a large wifi shared connection than it is browser.

Sydney, NS seems to be the closest to the server, if the server is indeed in Nova Scotia. This is on a good connection too.

Just installed the newest Firefox 4 beta (5). Holy crap is it fast. Fastest I've ever seen Firefox. Honestly it seems faster than Chrome was when I last tried it, but then I honestly wasn't very impressed by Chrome. Don't know if it's just my comp or what, but it ran about the same as IE for me.

Opera is really only good for it's built-in torrent dohickey.  8)

Good to see I'm in the majority with Firefox  :tu:

The crazy thing is that my company uses IE 6 for our online applications. This is fine but so so many people with work laptops use IE 6 to surf, etc  :o  :ahhh The people in the know 'shop around' and Firefox seems popular :D

Surfing without tabs would send me to the madhouse  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

I've tried Safari but it just wasn't for me and I use Opera Mobile on my phone. Is Chrome any good compared to Firefox?

With chrome you can open endless tabs too and also after using it awhile it'll store 8 of your most visited sites as a page I find this very useful, chrome is very fast too ;) there is not much not to like really IMO

I think one of the major deterrents for me to use Chrome is the Terms of Service when they first launched it were soooo wrong. While I do have it installed in both windows and ubuntu, I rarely use it except to check some minor things, and never use a login with it. I assume the terms have been amended since then

Yeah I think I read that they tweaked the terms a bit, but it's still pretty sketchy.

I got spoiled with tabs too, and IE8 tries to copy yet can't compete. I remember when Firefox was fast, then added in No Script, Ad Block Plus, and WeatherFox...  :ahhh

KDE Konqueror running on Debian. Currently at version 3.5.10. Always with javascript off and no plugins.

Am unable to vote as, oddly, Konqueror is not listed in the poll...

I use Firefox, but... don't you have some sort of statistics system in place on the site?  A poll is never going to have 100% participation, not even close, so the results you get here don't really tell you anything more than what the people who vote in polls use for browsers. Using Google Analytics, I can find out in a couple of clicks that 48.75% of people visiting my site use Firefox, and of those, 55.1% use 3.6.8. Those numbers are for the population, not just a selection, and also cover "lurkers" and one time visitors. It's extremely easy to set up Google Analytics (as in less than 5 minutes) and if you let it run a week or two you'll have numbers that actually mean something.
