Want a Cybertool 41 in the UK...
« on: September 15, 2010, 01:23:35 AM »
I have a CT34 and a Spirit, but want/need the CT41 for my EDC!!! :) Let me know if you have one for sale, or want to trade for a used 34. UK preferably, due to shipping costs. Thanks

Thanks for your help Guys.... GRRRRRR!!! I thought my luck was in then lol

I can't believe the CT41 is so hard to come by... "She's Perfect!"  Is it officially discontinued or something?

Have found one or two around the £70 mark, but for an extra £20 I could go to an XLT.... Which would mean my ST Spirit would hardly get a look in! Ok, I mean it wouldn't!

Isn't it strange how one's needs change over time?

Then add tax and RM handling charge on that :(

That said the CT41 is difficult to get in the UK especially from a reputable seller.

Your best bet is to have a chat with Tim at FelineVet.

I just had a look around all my usual UK SAK sellers and couldn't find one for sale anywhere. :-\

Thanks for the help and advice guys - much appreciated. Will email Tim, and see what happens. Found a few in Germany too. I actually mocked up an XLT in work today , to see how the extra size and weight carries, and it's not as bad as I thought. And I'd get use out of the extra tools too, with the exception of the spatula. lol. Saying that, I could cut some slots in it to make some tines, so it would be like a chip-shop fork.... hmmmmmm.

Thought i'd entertain you with my CT34/XLT hybrid, and my abused ST Spirit. :)

My favorite SAK store sells them for £60 which is a nice price if you ask me, but shipping them to the UK will get you very close to the £70 you mentioned...

You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

they're as common as real-horse poo in Germany, what you need is a german intermediary to help out with postage...

I hadn't thought of Germany.  I've bought from this site before, I can't remember what the postage was like but I don't remember it being silly.

The £70 from the UK was a no go - out of stock - so looking at £90+ (more expensive than the XLT) from an Amazon seller than wasn't the best....

I know what your saying Jmora. Thank-you - if it wasn't for Gareth's link, I would have taken you up on that! ;) Very kind offer indeed. Hope it stands for the future, just incase!!! :)

Thanks for the link Gareth - I hadn't seen that one. Shipping is Under 6 Euros to the UK, so that does put it a fair bit cheaper than the XLT now, and is just what I really wanted in the first place. Think I will give this one a go.... :)

Will keep you informed as to how it goes.... Many thanks to you all.

Well I've been away on a little break, and so didn't get round to ordering the CT41 untill the early hours of Sunday morning, from http://www.toolshop.de/product_info.php?products_id=1370&XTCsid=826b96c62cc0cada29ca117aedd83729

Great service, and tracked it all the way until it came this morning! :) Great product, just what I wanted - ST Spirit and old CT34 won't get much look in now - the CT41 has everything I need to use on a daily basis! Yay  :climber:

Thanks again Gareth for the link, and everyone else for their input. Just deciding whether to stick with the stock scales, or go with my favourite - red. Quite liking the white scales though...  :D

I did see your white scaled SAKs in one of the forums - very nice they were too! Think I will have to place an order at RotoKid's shop soon! :)
