Looking into the crunch,what would I be expected to pay?

This looks a cool tool,I've handled one of Dave's (Davek) and I would like to try one out but not for the queens ransom asked in the UK  so my question is it worth it if the price was right?

Side by Side: Crunch & PST


Crunch's file markings was from removing arc welding debris. Used it in class because it did everything I needed it to, and was more reliable than the welding tools I had gotten.


Bought mine around $65 a long time ago, when life was more pleasant & simpler.

As in "mint chocolate chip"? I actually got it in a trade or so from our own Andrew a while back and been carrying it in my backpack/murse ever since. Great bit of kit but being used as more of a backup, it doesn't see as much use as it deserves. These days it's "all joy for the Spirit" I'm afraid...

I sold my crunches awhile back as I just didn't have patience for the tool.  It took too much effort to operate

I got a beautiful one off of eBay for $35.  It even had the old style leather sheath which is much better.  It took some patience, but I got it done.
