Hey guys, I thought I'd kinda get y'all caught up. Some of you may recall that I'm disabled. My Dr at the Veterans Hospital has me on Methadone for my pain. Well, lately it has taken over my life so I decided to get off of it. Of course my Dr said I should go through the program that VA offers and do it slowly but being the stubborn one I am I figured I could just do it "my way" to quote Frank Sinatra.

Well yesterday I paid for it in a bad way. My withdrawals became so bad I had a psychotic breakdown. My mind literally flipped. Laying in bed, from my perspective the entire universe was spinning and I was screaming. Well my wife came home and we got me back under control but this scared the hell out of me. I literally thought I'd died. So now we're trying to find a detox center that's close to home and cheap. So it may be a while before I'm on again. But I'll get through this and come out the other side better and healthier. Thanks for your continued prayers.
