TOPS Alaskan Harpoon

Good knife.
Blade length: 6 3/4"
O/A length: 12"
Cutting length: 5 7/8"
Thickness: 1/4"
Blade color: Black traction coating
Steel: 1095 High carbon alloy
Handle: Black linen micarta
Sheath: black ballistic nylon.
I paid about $160 for the knife. I was told this is a good price for 1095 steel and a quality heat treat.

Looks good, but way expensive for what it is.
I'd stick with Beckers if I want a slab of 1095.

I don't really care for the micarta but it's a cool looking blade.

Good point. Becker BK-7 and BK-2 are superb and less expensive alternatives.

Amici,
Decent steel but I do NOT like that sheath, if I had one, I would upgrade either to kydex or high grade welted leather..
Cheers,
Serge
