I have various SAKs, gerbers, leathermans and other miscellaneous multitools.

I have a small collection of titanium gear which is a lot of fun too.

Lately I’ve been serious about wanting to get a custom SAK (been looking at Robert Lessard’s work for years). Trying to figure out my optimal toolset 😆 before I bite the bullet.

Hello mates,

Name is Rowdy.  Live in the state of Oklahoma here in the US.  I've had an original Leatherman Wave since they first came out.  Recently bought the LM Charge TTi since I had to retire the Wave.

Found this forum while researching about if it's possible to combine tools from different types of multi-tools into one unit.

Hi folks!

I'm a long time knife user (duh) of many sorts. I have a few older Leathermans, but mostly SAK's, with the Farmer and Huntsman and my new EvoGrip 18 (what an awful name for a great knife) as my favorites. Just wanted to drop in and say hi since I finally registered (mostly to identify a few older Wegners and SAKs I have lying around in a drawer.)

Regarding the old SAKs - We love the older ones here (well I do at the very least!)
Check out the Vintage SAKs thread.

Also have you checked SAKWiki (which we look after) to help with the identification tasks?   ???

Hello from Michigan  USA. I tried to post this a week ago but it wouldn't load. This time I will drive to the blacktop before I hit send. LoL

Got my first swiss army knife in 1982, my first swiss tool in 1998?. Now I am surrounded by swiss army knives. Not sure how that happened, it's all just a blur. Got here via a fella named swiss army Dan, been lurking for quite a while and finally joined the party.

My first EDC was a pioneer. Then the cellidor champion and eventually champ caught my eye. I gave up working recently and spend most days outside in the woods or on the water in multitool heaven. Most days it's still a farmer, pioneer or champ in my pocket.

Hallo everyone,

I joined earlier this year but did not introduce yet myself so here I am to remedy it.

For long time I was always one knife user - I got Victorinox Mauser in early 90' and use it mostly for hiking and camping till ~2010/11 when it got confiscated by TSA (stupid packing mistake on my end), replaced by Wenger 179 Patagonian Race which I lost in 2020 and while searching for replacement I came across this fine place.

It truly sparked interest in SAKs, I learned a lot from all the knowledgeable members here, found a replacent of my lost Wenger (Forester Wood) and for the first time I got more than one pocket knife - I added Rambler and then some more (Minichamp, Waiter, Bakers knife, Alox Bantam, Tradesman and latest one is Cybertool M). I am surprised how much joy they bring!

Thank you all for such a great place and resource!

Following here about 2 years and finally joined  8)

I am big fan of little edc tools, especially products from Leatherman and Victorinox, very useful in lot of situations.
