Victorinox Space Shuttle different models...

Hi,

I have one mastercraftsman with this space shuttle on it


but I did not know that there were two different types of this model, like this one...


I forgot to bid  , but this last one has just been sold on ebay, did anyone grab it?

One is a modern issue made for the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Collector's Society as a club knife. Be careful if buying or bidding since the values are considerably different.

The one in the Auction is not common. 

From a very few appearances it seems like it appears on more than 1 model, but the VSAKCS knife is not one of them.  As far as I've seen the VSAKCS knife uses the more common one shown in the image on SAKwiki.

Wasn't there mention of fakes circulating of the shuttle. No clue if it is fake...just throwing that out there.

Yes there was some discussion about fakes but I also am not sure about the details.
