I've never had one... I know once I get one, I'll probably want more (I have that kind of personality!) and I also can't think of anything in particular that I like so much that I would want it displayed on my flesh forever!

I'm not against tats, just haven't really decided what I want yet!

What are you getting done?

Inky has a SOSAK tattoo on his side!  You could be the first to get some Multitool.org ink!   :pok:

Well when my son was born I had his name and D O B tattoo'd on my arm, and I'm going to have a chinese dragon  (I was born in the year of the dragon) overlaid over his name so it looks like the dragon's protecting him :)

I'll post a picture of it when I have it done.

A famous Canadian character, Red Green (portrayed by actor Steve Smith) once said:

"Getting a tattoo is like sucking on an ink pen with your whole body, and the only thing more painful than getting a tattoo is getting a second tattoo, or getting either of those tattoos removed."

He then goes on to discuss how that cool tattoo will look later in life, or how that funny tattoo on your ass could be detrimental because the last thing you want is to make the surgeon laugh during your hernia operation.

That's a very good point, fortunatly I have a very advanced skin care programme, which should keep me looking youthful well into my 80's ;D

If i was young hip and trend again i'd get a tattoo of this on the back of my neck >:D

I want the emerson skull with a V-42 stiletto and colt 1911 crossed behind it with the words "death becomes of you" below it.

Shatter a foot, break a knee, then have a few hundred kidney stones over a three week period.

A tattoo will be a welcome break! :P

Yeah, that does sound like quite a month.  Kidney stones the most painful?  I have done the foot thing, My knees have been battered quite a bit.  The kidney stones I haven't had but I have heard that by far it is the most excruciating thing to have other than a gall stone.

I'd get married and break another foot before I willingly got kidney stones again.  Fortunately, they are hereditary, so there's a greater likelihood of kidney stones again than the other two. :(

Imagine having an icepick stuck through your kidney, and then into the table behind you so you are stuck, but you keep trying to get up, despite being pinned down.  Imagine that for three weeks straight, and imagine the only relief you get is when you are so doped up on morphine that you don't even know when you have to go to the washroom.

No word of a lie, I was stumbling around in the hospital when the nurse walked in and told me I should go to the washroom.  I smiled and said thanks, but I don't have to go right now.  She told me that I'd gone through 2 IV bags (one liter each) and that she was looking at my x-rays, and that she could see that my bladder was as full as bladders can get.  I shrugged, and said "You're the professional, you'd know better than I would" and I went to the washroom.  Sure enough, I had to go, and apparently I had to go BAD.  I haven't peed that much in years, and I was in there for several minutes.

Imagine how much dope you'd have to have in you to not notice that you had to go that bad....

Kidney stones are not fun.

Nothing wrong with man tears... I've been known to shed a few myself from time to time.  They are identifiable because the often follow the phrase "Hey watch this" or "Hold my beer for a minute."
