111mm Mod Possible?

Simple question...
Can you swap out a 111mm lock blade for a OH lock blade?

I've wondered the same thing. I've often thought that a Dual Pro Workchamp would be fantastic, but I have no idea if it is feasible.

I think the OH blade has a weaker backspring so that you can open it with the force of your thumb- so you'd have to drop in the blade + backspring together. Has anyone done this?

Not personally but it has been done.  The liner locking 111mm SAKs use larger pins as well so you'd have to drill out any of the tools you wanted from the side lock SAK/s.
