My October haul
on:
October 29, 2010, 05:04:52 AM
I kind of went a few months without really adding to the collection, but October's been good to me:
(Pardon the crappy picture, my phone was charging and I resorted to my old Zire.)
I got the Freestyle earlier this month and a Skeletool today. A week or so back, my Swiss Roller arraived from Neil. Before that my mom gifted me with a SwissTech pliers tool. And today, courtesy of Travis Autry, I got my MTO Charter Member kit.
My Charter Member kit is joining my EDC to compliment my Crunch. It should clip nicely to my bag.
All-in-all, October's been a nice month. :-) Now, to go play with my Skeletool!

How do you like the Swiss+Tech?
I find them handy little tools.

October has indeed set the bar pretty high
You'll have to work hard to beat that in November!
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

Good haul buddy. What do you think of the freestyle. I keep meaning to get myself one of those but never quite get around to it.

I haven't had a chance to do anything with it yet. It looks nice, though and the price was right.

Not yet, but my MTO pin is attached, so it's not going anywhere.

What do you think of the freestyle.
Initially it disappointed me, but...and this may sound odd...the more I play with my Skeletool, the more I appreciate the austerity of the Freestyle. That's not a dig against the Skeletool, but the Freestyle feels better when it's in my hand.

I tend to think of the Freestyle less as a MT and more as a good knife with nice pliers on the side ... or vice versa
Sounds strange but there you have it. Its a shame for us in the UK that its a locker otherwise I'd carry one regularly.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.
