It seems Vic is on a colored Alox thing now, but what do you guys think will be their next trend?

Well I don't know what's next but what I would like to see is colored ALOX versions of some on the standard celledor models like The Climber. Doubt they would do it.

If they made an Alox Climber or Farmer w/ Scissors I'd be done collecting  :D   Well, probably not, but that's my dream SAK.

The colored Alox is being done by special commission or limited runs and is not part of their regular line. The SHOT Show in January is when they roll out the new stuff for the year.

I've no idea what they'll be doing but I know I'd like to see them come up with something new in the 91 or 84mm line.  All their efforts seem to have been focused on the 111mm or making fancy electronics for the 58mm range.

Salon hair products.

LOL! Scrappy, that's the funniest thing I think I've ever read on here!

I'd like to see cellidor offered in new solid colors. 91 line SAKS in orange cellidor.. or brown.. or gray..

I think offering certain tools from the 91 line in the alox knives would be tremendous. Especially if it meant alox versions of knives that are discontinued in the 91mm world.

Imagine an alox Scientist! Alox Yeoman! Who here wouldn't buy that in a heartbeat?

Personally though, I want an OHO 111 with scissors and pocket clip. That would be a perfect EDC for me. There are not enough pocket clip 111s, and the scissors aren't offered with OHO. If I could put scissors on a Sentinel... oh baby.

I would be so all over that! The Climber is nearly perfect, but add Alox scales and you might just have Vic Nirvana.
Let us therefore open the book of Nature and read in her records.

Cant really find much colored "waffle-pattern" alox right now except for smaller versions. If there is one thing I'd like to see then it is a popular with vintage bail in hunter green color.

So that is the next thing for Vic. Popular with vintage bail in hunter green color.

Cellidor is my favorite, and how could Vic lose making more colors available - as people like me will just buy one of each color for the variety  :D

So the question is what would we like to see them do next or what will they actually be doing next? I know I'd love to see some new Spirit-sized MT (no, Spirit RTs are not new tools) and/or a ST/Spirit with OHO blade, pocket clip, etc... but I also reckon that hair salon products seem much more probable... :-\

What we want as a rather niche group of users/collectors is pretty irrelevant :)  If you are going to try and second guess what's coming up you need to consider what the average member of the public would like to see.

Of course there is going to be some common ground there.  I really think some new colours to the line up would be a good move.  We've seen various new patterned and printed SAKs but I'd suggest that due to the way they lose their appeal as the scratches from carry build up that alternative solid colours would be a better move.

Solid colors indeed!  I'd like to see a line up of :  Maroon/Burgundy, Sage/Olive Green, Mustard Yellow/Gold, Midnight Blue, Flat Purple - and perhaps a flourescent line to complement their glowing yellow  :tu:
