adler / mikov fork mod question
on: November 21, 2010, 03:35:23 PM
adler once made 108 gaks, too, as far as i know. a couple of years ago they have been bought by mikov.
on their homepage they still list some sak knockoffs which i never get to lay my hands on in real life.
they have a feature though that i would really welkome on one of my saks: a fork
http://www.mikov.cz/de/produkty/mikov-taschenmesser-messer-ohne-sicherung--rostfreistahl/100-NH-3V/mikov-offiziermesser.html
did one of the modders over here once try to adapt a mikov fork into a genuine sak?
pics would be really welcome  :D
cheers, hp

Never attempted such a thing and if I did I think MultiMat would demand it be immediately sent down to him :D

The obvious choice for modification on a Vic. would be the divot tool.
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Its most likely doable but without one in my hands I couldn't say for certain.

Aitor has (or had) a model with a fork as well, by the way :)
You should seriously visit vicfan.com. All the hoopy froods are doing it.

thanks for mentioning aitor, reinier,
i own an aitor and this baby is a massive tank. i don't have a camera available for comparison, but the aitor i own is not quite comfortable for pocket carry. so i was hoping for something more subtle.
