I would say the  Charge and the SwissTool...

or maybe the Spirit and the SwissTool.

Or the Powerlock and a Spirit, or maybe a Micro ToolClip and a Powerlock.

Or, or......  ;)

SOG Powerlock & Victorinox Swisstool RS

The ones that get the job done 100% satisfactorily. Those are the two best tools.  ;)

I just literally got back from the store where I finally picked up a Victorinox Spirit. I already love this thing! It would be my first vote. The second would be the LM Core.

The ones you have on you when you really need them? I don't think anyone can say that any tool is better than another (if we are talking good quality brands) it depends on who is using them, what they are using them for and what you expect out of the tool. I have a MP600 that i use more often than my leatherman crunch. Is the mp600 better than the crunch? Yes and no....if i need regular pliers then the MP600 beats it hands down, if i need locking pliers the 600 doesn't stand a chance.

I know its strange as they are both large tools . I would love an original Supertool . I had a ST 200 which was nice but I didnt like the lock release . Of course any plier based multi should be paired whit a SAK , guess thats why I'm not a fan of small plier based multis .

I don't have much experience in any multitool other than a surge(which i own) a sak(which i own) and a week with a a what i think was a wave(that was when i didn't have any and didn't know anything). But from reading all the reviews on this great site, i would have to say the surge and maybe the swisstool, based on what i've read about it.

I'll take the easy path and say "What I've got on me" and "What I have handy."

The two that I pick are:  Swiss Tool Spirit (my EDC) and original LM Supertool for ten years of trusty service.

Yes indeed they are!

Hmmm, I've got to start adding props to my pictures. They make the pic so much more interesting.  :)
