I still have a couple of other reviews, one even for a tool I don;t have any more... I hope I can find the pictures I took for it....

I added all of those ones yesterday, which might explain why I have a hell of a headache today!     Most of the photos were taken yesterday, but many of the reviews were written over the last few months.

So, it basically meant that after taking a 150 photos, I then had to review and edit those 150 photos, then upload them, organize the articles, upload them.... blah blah blah.  I know it doesn't look like much, but that's easily a few hours' work!

Micky- send me a PM if you want one of the Frogs, I think I have two.

Thanks for the offer Hawkchucker, but Def is right, I've already got a Pro-Lock.

An interesting concept for sure. Too bad the build quality wasn't better.  :-\

No problem. I had two of them and like the bad penny I cant get rid of the second. I think it was a great Idea gone horribly wrong. As a user of tools and not a collector It kinda just sits there taunting me.

Then maybe you should go ahead and use it. (Ten minutes later when it's broken, you can throw it away.) Problem solved!  ;D

Come on guys, that Pro Lock is a valuable tool for the collector!  If HawkChucker hadn't already sent me the one I had, I'd snag this one in a second too!

I got one of those Fishing tools for my tackle-box a while back. It was only three or four francs, so I'm not too dissapointed.

A few more reviews are now up:

Leatherman Mini Tool

Leatherman Squirt S4

Leatherman Squirt P4

Something completely different

I have a couple of reviews from Micky D that I need to upload as well, but I have to get some pictures taken first.

BTW, what does 'vestigial' mean? It sounds dirty... :)

Though easily seen in the pictures, you didn't mention the Mini's curved "Locks" - creating a slightly stiffer (and thus more secure?) hold on the (grand total of) two tools that use it.

I really don't consider that to be a lock system- more like a backspring since it really only applies pressure to hold the blade or file open.

Oh, it in no way constitutes a lock, but it feels locky-er than regular PST

I'll admit it does feel sturdier than the PST and is an improvement on the design, but then as the tools are also shorter they also don't need it quite as much!
