American Football Playoffs
on: January 09, 2011, 04:17:08 PM
Well the playoffs have started and I must say yesterdays games were wild! (and good)

I feel really bad for New Orleans (fans) and I'm also shocked both Mannings can play golf now! :P

This is one year anything, any team can win in these playoffs. I'm hearing a lot of sure-thing predictions

I've never seen this kind of parity and I'm glad I'm not a gambler! ::)  many lost shirts and a few won big!

Today Green bay or the Eagles could win it, and the Ravens and Chiefs is a coin toss to me too!

I'm very excited about these games and we'll see how excited I am next week when my Bears play :ahhh

Both Mannings playing golf, huh? Eli had better watch it, he'll probably get picked off during a putt! GO JETS!

The Ravens have totally surprised me.  I didn't think they had a chance.

every road/away team won this week (didn't this happen last year?), except the one home-team nobody picked to win, the Seahawks!

Green Bay looks good! with Rodgers and some smart coaches, it's gonna be a good game down in Atlanta!

so the Bears get some revenge vs the Seahawks, then maybe the Packers, then maybe (I'm dreaming here ok) the Patriots! :ahhh :P ::) :D

You're right, every away team won on wild card weekend last year too. I was surprised that Philly couldn't pull it off against GB, especially at home.

wow! great games today :salute:

Not to take anything away from the Steelers but the Ravens lost that game, the turnovers kill ya! (and giving credit to the Steelers D)

The Steelers are beat up now, with many injuries, if they have to play a healthy New England or Jets, they won't be favored.

OMG the Falcons so wasted that number one-seed :twak: the Packers slaughtered them and Rodgers is scary good! The Pack had it going most of the game, after that first turnover, it was men against boys...

Sadly true.  Inconsistency has plaqued them all season.  Between that and stupid penalties, Harbaugh has his work cut out for him next season.

It was a absolutely horrific evening. the Pats just imploded and I cant stand what they did. I am certainly rethinking season tiks. Next year. I jsut cant justify giving them any more of my cash.

wow John! I can't explain it either, the Pats were the most scary of all the times (more than the Packers) to me, the favored "elite" hate em or luv em they were great.

the only thing I see, think (and what do I know) is the fire is gone and they've already proven it. where as the rest of us are still "outside" wanting to get in.

if Rodgers beats the Bears and wins the Super Bowl I think he is next in line to do what Brady and the Pats have done, dominate the league for awhile!

if Cutler can play great (and smart enough) he will be the next Favre "like" QB and be great (like a Gun-Slinger) and go on to do the same (but not as many rings as a smart player like Brady and Rodgers), to me this is a defining moment for these 2 great QBs.
