Copper Cadet Fetching Big Dollar

Copper Cadet on ebay.

Interesting; I bought one last week on ebay for $25; which I knew was a good deal, but I didn't think they were worth quite this much already.  It's just a couple of bidders wanting this knife this bad, but if any more participate before the closing it might get really interesting.

I am thinking that the RARE copper Cadet is one with the old style cross (anyone?).

I have two like this, one mint ($20.00) and one used that I bought from a pawn shop for $10.00.

$106.00 I think they are insane :pok:

I don't believe there was ever a copper cadet w/old cross.

I guess I'll be holding on to my copper cadet!  $106 USED!

3 weeks ago I sold mine new mint at ebay and there was just one bid.
It was sold together with  an new huntergreen for just the starting bid.( $ 40 )
Sell or buy at ebay is just like an lotery and  an gamble.

Hmmm, that guy listed another copper Cadet some time ago, I was outbid pretty quickly. No idea for how much that one went...

Edit: $63.00 with 14 bids (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260685963025)

NIB/NNB Copper Cadets typically don't sell for anything above $75-80 USD; I think this is just the result of someone trying to finish his or her Cadet collection; a bit like the red alox bubble we saw a half year ago.

:tu: Are you sure?  I pay double for Neil mods!   :D

Now that I have a couple in real nice condition, I think I have one in good condition that would make a excellent mod host and user.  Hmmm....

Its funny we use to have to worry about orange ones being sold as copper; the last one I bought was a copper being sold as orange.   :mail:  It was not too had to tell if one looked at the picture; although the picture was no where near as clear as this current auction.
