I am looking for xmas presents for myself and have been looking at Luftwaffe watches as I have wanted one for a long time. The ones I have found are smaller copies, which is great as they are much smaller than the huge originals. They are made by Pobeda. Anyone heard of them? Any good?

Any good?Isn't pobeda russian for victory I've got to say I've always been mightly impressed with russkie watches, I've had one apart and if they were made in the west they'd be at least 4-5 dearer, such is the quality of them
Well apparently the first one is in "very good" condition .It's rare in the fact that I haven't found another one on ebay but thats about it. Not too fussed on it's rarity. I have just always liked that design but have been put off of buying a genuine one as they are so big and my arms are quite thin.

However, notice how the mech is exactly the same. In the end it goes down to the face and I prefer the first one.No never fixed watches. I only ever repaired electronics. Wouldn't mind learning though.

Why are you picking on me I think there both very nice, I like the second one more and It's probably authenric (please don't quote me) but it's a lotta dosh though The second one is still a pretty nice replica though
Well the way I see it, if you get the replica your always gona know it's a replica , I'd say swallow the price (or mummy will) and get it, you'll probably never loose money on it, so it's probably a safe investment too

I think I do prefer the second. Like the little piece of history that comes with it to.
