Serious? Man, they are pretty irresponsible, that little light could rarely handle 14500s. I've seen many similar ones that don't recommend 14500s due to heat issues. Considering the spotty quality control on many of the lower priced lights, I'm not too suprised about the blown light.Back to China/HK?
As to 14500 support, I dunno. I've got at least one other Tank007 light and have used a few more that work well on 14500s so I didn't have too much of a reason to doubt the specs. The E07 also has a very large solid brass pill for heat dissipation. I guess in this case it just wasn't enough.
Considering the spotty quality control on many of the lower priced lights, I'm not too suprised about the blown light.
What was wrong with the Crelant. Quality seemed great to me...
