Just found it at the back of a shelf.

Seems to smell of petrol a bit (?) but is clearly unused, complete with nice Gift Tin, Paperwork and leather sheath.

£40 plus £2.50 UK Postage anyone?

I used to come here a lot.

OK, I'm walking away from this .... :bnghd:

I've had no replies to these posts, no replies to PM's and no replies to emails. I've checked DaveK's profile to see if he's been here to receive the messages and he's logged into the forum at least once between each of the steps I've taken to carry this transaction through.

Before posting in this thread I also responded to his "lots for sale but not gonna list them" thread, and got not any reply from that either - but never thought much of it at the time until this 1 to 1 sale went nowhere either.

Sorry feller, but I'm not confident in sending money on this basis so I'm backing out of my offer to buy this tool

I haven't been on-line, partly through illness, partly because I've been busy, partly because you don't get notifications from the site any more it seems so I had no idea you were trying to contact me. But after seeing your feedback thread - I wouldn't sell it to you anyway  :)

Sorry "feller".

After going to PM for a while it appears this has pretty much been resolved and both parties are putting this episode behind them, with both of them being in the clear
