I was looking at the RR Cinnamon Bone and man those are some sweet looking covers.  The half hawk in particular looks terrific.  I haven't pulled the trigger but I'm going to the flea market tomorrow and I wont pass on RR if I see one.

Another one on my must-have list! :like:

I really like this Congress in "tater skin" burlap Micarta. Hopefully I'll be able to add more Congresses.

It really does.  Can't hardly go wrong with Micarta for covers on any knife.

I really like mine.  I did find that the dark stain did come off on my hands to start with but a good rub down and a application of some dark brown Sharpie set things to rights.

Gorgeous.  They did a great job on the texture for sure.  Bummer the color came off.  I recall Steve doing a treatment to darken bone covers? Potassium permanganate IIRC.

I have awl-ways been drawn to a Sunfish or Elephant Toe pattern!  Why, no idea, did not even knew they were made until I saw in a Coffee Table Book I bought at Half Price Books several years ago.

Well, my itch has been scratched😜

Bought a older Red Jigged Bone Rough Rider Toe.  In very good condition and is a HEAVY knife.

No model number on the blades or was there a box😔

I know exactly what you mean.  :D  They're an unusual pattern of knife, and I'm happy I own one, but it's never going to be one I regularly carry.  However; like you they've long held my attention and I wouldn't have been happy until I'd tried one for myself.

Great looking in the jigged bone BTW.  :tu:
