MY LEATHERMAN JUST SAVED MY LIFE!! (literally)
on: March 24, 2011, 01:47:45 AM
i put a plastic cord around my nick to see if it will hold there now any how i know it was a stupid thing to do but suddenly i started feeling that i cant get any air the cord was strangling me , i started turning red my eyes all filled with blood my hands started shaking and my lips slowly turned to blue (the mirror was in front of me it was a horrible thing to see)

any how i couldn't find anything around and suddenly i found the ps4, i opened the scissors but it was just too small to cut the cord , as i was struggling for air i tried to push to cord away with my left hand and try to find something with my right then suddenly i saw the freestyle , i opened the knife (this is the first time i truly understand why one hand opening knives are important) so i pushed the knife under the cord tried to cut it but it didnt cut since the knife was not the sharp so i pushed the freestyle further to get to the serrated part of the knife and the cord snapped off like it was nothing
i almost died with out this little piece of heaven , god i love you leatherman , and for real thank you for saving my life, i could have died tonight :|

after i got my focus back and started to truly understand what the hell happened i found the i had cut both my hands and my neck, for a thing after to day im 100% buying the charge with the safety belt cutter i would have done the job better but any how thank you for your sharp as hell knives that saved my life !!!!

You know,

Your mom told you never to tie something around your neck, run with scissors or cross your eyes on purpose.

Truer words...

(Glad you're ok, but damn man, ... :-\)

Glad to hear that you're ok but why exactly did you tie a plastic cord around your neck?

Glad you're ok.  Dude, not my business but I hope you didn't really mean to tie a cord around your neck.

Or how not too go blind!! ::)

But seriously!!  I'm glad your LM saved your bacon.  But just out of curiousity.   What were you thinking to begin with??

Some run from breaks of ice, and answer none:

I'm not sure we should be asking why- we have all done things we weren't proud of, and were probably glad when folks didn't ask too many questions afterwards.  The least we can do is just take it as done and move on.  Next thing you'll want to know is why he had on a Batman costume too...

My wife worked as a trauma nurse in admitting at Shock-Trauma (Maryland Institute of Emergency Medical Services-MIEMS) of Discovery Channel Fame, for years.

You'd be amazed at the stupid smurf people do.  Just try to avoid running with scissors now ok?

Why do you say that you now need to buy a tool with a safety belt cutter given that you did a pretty dumb thing and presumably do no not intend doing it again.

Lets hope you don't see a show involving guns, knives, chainsaws, motorcars - hell anything really
