Hello! Is the notch on all current production 91mm knives? Or was only a 1999 test? Thank you
It's on all current 91mm, 93mm, and 111mm (I /think/) bottle openers/large screwdriver tools. I do not think it trailed down to the 83mm line, yet on the other hand, I do remember one account over at SOSAK claiming that the person's Cadet had a half-stop on the bottle opener. I have yet to see a 83mm have one in person, though.

There are openers with a half-stop but without the notch Yep - seems a couple things are getting confused. On the caplifter, there is the 90 degree half stop AND the "locking nub". Here's what has what:84mm: neither. Caplifter only opens to 180 degrees and no locking nub.91mm: 1952-1985: neither. 1985-1999: 90 degree half stop only. 1999+ 90 degree half stop + locking nub93mm: 1957+ 90 degree half stop only. 111mm: no clue. For combo tools:84mm: 1978- c. 1986: Opens 180 degrees only. 1986+: 90 degree half stop91mm: 1986+: 90 degree half stop
