Who is buying this??

Surely it takes professional photography to a whole new level  :ahhh

Am I the only one who thinks this is excessive? £28k for the body only? I thought £5-7k for a Nikon was a lot but could understand if it was how you made a living; but £28k+  :o :ahhh
You better be a good photographer and a good salesman if you want this one  :D

Hasselblad cameras are the first choice for professional fahion/pinup/studio photographers. The larger sensor format compared to the well known "full frame" DSLR by Nikon and Canon allows higher detail, more creative options and, last but not least, it makes these cameras a great tool for landscape photographers too, who need wide angle lenses. So, in addition to the pros mentioned above, the medium format is for high-res landscape pictures.

I'll check down the back of the sofa and see how much change I can find.  Not quite enough I suspect. :-\

The resolution is the professional standard for large scale printing like billboards.

I had a Pentax 645 camera, to test it on a passaround. Great gear and you can get fantastic results, but it is just overkill for my skills. I dream of a full-frame Nikon someday, or maybe just a top-class Sony DSLR (use a simple Sony Dslr and an Olympus Pen now). Still, the medium-format is very cool! Oh, and a Pentax 645 is very afforable, just 11.000.- Euro for the smallest kit  :D
