Two more great alox knives on the way.
Nice to see some more 84mm coming out.  :salute:
Tim at FelineVet will have them.

That IS very cool. I don't think I've seen an alox "camper" before.
Too bad no awl though so I'm sticking with my cellidor but I'm very impressed.

Question:  How much are these runs costing the initial investors to even make the runs?  Also, BO tools on a SAK are droolworthy.

84mm aren't deserving of the Farmer moniker until there's an awl comparable to the 93mm.

Wow.  That is very cool that they have taken the 84mm Alox and added a 3rd layer.  Has this ever been done before?  Crazy-cool.

Ya seriously.  I can't stomach paying $125 for a knife when the only difference over the one I paid $17 for is a saw.  Also, I would want to use this knife, but at $125, this isn't really an EDC affair.  Not sure why Victorinox refuses to make knives people actually want to buy.  They are stuck on silver Alox, when the market shows Red, Blue, Black, Green, Orange, etc...all are far more popular than the silver.

Looks like they are now called a Cadet Plus and Cadet II Plus.
I'm not sure now why one was listed as a Farmer Mini either?

Yes too valuable for EDC  but still very tempting.

Agree

I dont know why they dont make a bigger run and distribute them to many dealers ???

They would do better at selling 100 x $30 instead of 10 @ $100

You can actually buy the 84mm saw from a celidor model. All we need is someone with a peening machine that can do factory quality peening.

Rubbish!  What use does a Cadet have for a saw?

Definitely Farmer variants  :D

btw, I agree, if these come in at the $100 mark, they won't be EDC.  If they're in the $50-60 range, the BO may get a turn in rotation...

Yeah, I'm confident that would work.  The awl shares a spring with the can and bottle openers.

Very interesting idea. Could be worth a try?

basically it'd be like this except, obviously, in alox scales.

sadly I don't have a spare 84mm saw or I'd be very tempted to give this a go.

Beautiful ones...

they could make one with the scissors too...  :pok:
Yes...I agree, seems that a "bubble" is forming on the prices of those special editions... some of our friends from Europe order the knife, but there are so many of us willing to buy it that the prices are getting way too high!!!

Any ideas if adding scissors to either would be possible?
